The Chicago Bulls (30-32) visit the Chase Center on Thursday to test the mettle of the Golden State Warriors (33-28). Surprisingly, the Bulls have gone 2-0 on this road trip, where they battle Western Conference squads. After coming from behind to stun the Sacramento Kings, they survived the scrappy Utah Jazz on Wednesday to move to 30-32.

The question is, can the Bulls extend their winning streak to three against a Warriors team that has won seven of its last ten games and is currently in ninth place in the competitive Western Conference? It won't be easy, as both teams possess explosive offensive weapons and are fighting for playoff positioning.

The minutes are piling up

Chicago again found itself in a close game against Utah, meaning its go-to guys DeMar DeRozan and Coby White, had to log heavy minutes. DeRozan played 38 minutes, while White played a whopping 42 minutes. This is becoming a trend for the Bulls, who are dealing with season-ending injuries to key players like Zach LaVine and Patrick Williams.

On the other hand, the Warriors are playing at full strength, having recently welcomed back the “Point God” Chris Paul to the lineup after he was sidelined for 21 games with a broken hand. The Warriors also have a lot of momentum on their side, coming off a huge 125-90 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Bulls could have Torrey Craig back

The Bulls may have a reinforcement coming in rugged forward Torrey Craig, who Bulls coach Billy Donovan said may have a chance to play on Thursday against the Warriors. Craig sprained his knee during a workout during the All-Star break and hasn’t played since.
