Zach LaVine disappeared in the second quarter but still scored six points in the final 28 seconds, giving the Bulls a four-point lead at halftime.
The star guard did not cool off after Friday’s monster 41-point performance against the 76ers. He caught fire in the fourth quarter against the Jazz, scoring 12 of his 36 points, and hitting three of his four attempts from beyond the arc.
Overall, he was 6-of-12 (50 percent) from the three-point range last night.

DeMar DeRozan scored two points in the second half against the 76ers and went scoreless in the first quarter last night. However, the 5x All-Star shook off his struggles with six points in the second quarter, which set the tone for the Bulls for the rest of the half.
Chicago's star forward came up big in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 points on 5-of-7 from the field to help the Bulls get back in the game after trailing by 7 with just over nine minutes left in the game.
DeRozan and LaVine finding their groove
This was the first time this season that LaVine and DeRozan scored more than 30 points in the same game. The two also became the third duo in Bulls history to finish the game with 35 or more, according to Elias Sports.
"It always helps when your best players are playing well and you're focused on the other end," LaVine said after the game.
"We're playing well. We're making big plays. I'm not saying we're playing perfect, but we're competing. We're coming to each game with a certain type of energy and confidence and we need to keep taking it game by game. We're not trying to look ahead and get ahead of ourselves," LaVine added.
The Bulls are 8-3 in their last 11 games, and the play of their Big Three has a lot to do with this surge.
