Former NBA big man Hickson signed by Lebanese squad

J.J. Hickson is back in the league... the Lebanese Basketball League.
The former Cleveland Cavaliers first-round draft choice has been signed by Champville Lebanon, just before the league's playoffs, according to a report.
He joins former Santa Cruz Warriors guard Jeremy Pargo, a Chinese Basketball Association teammate of Hickson, on Champville.

The 6-foot-9, 242-pound Hickson started the season with the CBA Jiangsu Tongxi Monkey Kings, averting 29.6 points, 14.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocked shots in 38 games.
He then moved on to Fujian Sturgeons of the CBA, for whom he averaged 24.5 points, 13.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 27 games.
Hickson was chosen by Cleveland in the first round of the 2008 draft with the 19th overall selection out of North Carolina State University and played three seasons with the Cavaliers.
He has also played in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazer, Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings, last doing so with the Nuggets in Wizards in the 2016-17 season.
He carries career averages of 9.5 points and 6.8 rebounds in 22.3 minutes per game.
Hickson, now in his 10th season in professional basketball, also played in Israel for Bnei Hasharon.
