Potential lottery pick Porter of Missouri to miss season

Possible lottery pick Jontay Porter will miss the entire season at Missouri after suffering a severe knee injury according to a report from ESPN.
Porter suffered MCL and ACL tears to his knee during a scrimmage over the weekend, ESPN reported.
The 6-foot-11 power forward is the younger brother of Denver Nuggets rookie Michael Porter Jr., who has yet to play in the NBA and missed all but the final two games at Missouri last season with a back issue. Michael Porter was considered the top pick in the draft prior to last college season but fell to No. 14 after the concerns about his back.
Thanks to everyone who reached out! It’s hard to stay positive in the midst of something like this but everything happens for a reason.

Prior to the injury, Jontay Porter was listed as the No. 13 prospect in the ESPN's mock draft. He declared for the draft last season as a freshman, but returned to school at the advice of scouts.
Porter averaged 9.9 points and 6.8 rebounds with the Tigers last season.
