Free agent guard Isaiah Canaan has agreed to a contract with Russian club Unics Kazaan, the team announced.

Canaan, 29, is 6-foot-0 and was selected by the Houston Rockets out of Murray State in the second round (No. 34 overall) of the 2013 draft.

Along with the Rockets, the well-traveled Canaan has spent time with the Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks.

Canaan has rebounded from a gruesome ankle injury, suffered as a member of the Suns against the Dallas Mavericks in 2018.

He scored 32 points in January while playing for the G League's Stockton Kings and continue to be on the radar of multiple NBA teams.

Terms of his contract with Unics Kazaan were not released.
