After having an injury scare in Tuesday night's game vs. the Charlotte Hornets, it looks as if Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has avoided anything serious. The superstar forward went for a block in the final minute on Tuesday's win, and landed awkwardly on his knee. The Bucks announced on Wednesday evening that Giannis is being listed as probable for Thursday night's game vs. the LA Clippers.

The team is calling it "right knee soreness" for Antetokounmpo, who fortunately did not get seriously hurt on what initially looked like a concerning play. When asked after the game why he went for a block in that scenario, Antetokounmpo said, "I was just trying to make a play. But sometimes, you're going to fall. Just get up and keep on moving forward and go the other way. Now, maybe you can be smarter and try not to jump in the final seconds of the game because it doesn't really make a difference. But I felt like there were a couple moments that I didn't contest a couple shots, so my main focus was to try to contest everything that was coming to our basket."

The good news is that everything seems to be alright for the 2021 Finals MVP, and he should be good to go on Thursday night vs. the LA Clippers. Listed as probable, Antetokounmpo will likely get a final status update shortly before game time.
