Anthony Edwards' Updated Status vs. Grizzlies Revealed

In this story:
The Minnesota Timberwolves are facing the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday evening, and they are listing star guard Anthony Edwards as questionable with an upper back spasm. Edwards and the Timberwolves have gotten off to a great start this season, as Minnesota currently sits atop the Western Conference at 11-4.
It has been the complete opposite for Memphis, who is currently in 14th place in the Western Conference, just a half game above the last place San Antonio Spurs. Even if Edwards is unable to play in this game, Minnesota likely will have enough to defeat, Memphis, as this iteration of the Grizzlies has struggled to beat even more shorthanded teams.
Incredibly shorthanded themselves, the Grizzlies are far from the team they expected to be entering this season. While Memphis knew they would be without Ja Morant for the first 25 games, they did not expect to lose so many other key rotation players as well. This has put the Grizzlies in a hole that may be tough to dig out of even once Morant returns, but it’s important to stack as many wins as possible in between now and then.
This game against Minnesota will be a tough one, even if Edwards is unable to suit up, but the Grizzlies are looking for a big win in this Western Conference showdown on Sunday.
