Brandon Ingram status, How to Watch Memphis Grizzlies-Toronto Raptors, Injury Report, Betting Lines, Lineups & More

The Memphis Grizzlies continued their mission to put as many 2026-27 roster hopefuls on display as possible while losing games to try and improve their chances in the draft lottery. Former first-round pick Dariq Whitehead and G League standout Toby Okani, both bigger wings likely to factor up front, were signed this week and will be available for head coach Tuomas Iisalo.
The Griz have dropped seven of eight, part of a 2-16 run after winning their first game in March. Memphis is playing its penultimate home game, wrapping up its home slate next week against Cleveland. They’ll be in a spoiler role against the Raptors here as well, but make no mistake that Memphis is better off finishing in last place in the Southwest Division than interfering in Toronto’s quest to finish top-six in the East.
The Grizzlies come off a 130-119 loss to the New York Knicks, entering this finale 1-4 on a six-game homestand. They edged the Chicago Bulls 125-124 behind 24 points and nine rebounds from rookie Cedric Coward in his most productive performance in months last Saturday night but have won just twice in their last dozen outings at FedEx Forum. They list 13 players on the official NBA Injury Report.
Memphis currently ranks 12th in the West and fourth in the Southwest Division, a half-game back of the New Orleans Hornets and a game up on the Dallas Mavericks. None of those teams are heavily invested in finishing out of the basement and are done playing one another for the season.
Toronto is highly motivated to avoid finishing in the No. 7 spot, having temporarily moved there by virtue of a tiebreaker it would lose against division rival Philadelphia since the teams enter Friday’s action with identical records. The Raptors opened April with a dreadful loss to the Sacramento Kings, falling 123-115 against the team with the worst record in the West.
Leading scorer Brandon Ingram, who has missed three of the last six including Wednesday’s loss to heel inflammation, doesn’t appear on the injury report.
The loss knocked the Raps out of fifth and puts them on the brink of their first three-game losing streak of 2026 if they fail to hold serve tonight. This stop in Memphis marks Toronto’s final away game against a Western Conference opponent since they’ll play in Boston and New York to close out their road slate.
The Grizzlies are 13-25 in home games and have gone 6-21 against Eastern Conference foes. Toronto is 21-17 on the road and 12-17 against the West.

Grizzlies hope to avoid first sweep at hands of Raptors since ‘19
The Memphis Grizzlies (25-51) host the Toronto Raptors (42-34) in the second and final meeting between these teams this season.
The Grizzlies swept Toronto last season and had won three straight vs. the Raptors before losing 117-104 north of the border on Nov. 2. The Raps were destroyed 155-126 in last season’s visit to Memphis, surrendering 21 points and 16 rebounds to then-rookie Zach Edey. Memphis also won 138-107 last season, but were handled in this season’s lone encounter despite 20 points and nine boards from Jaren Jackson Jr.
Ja Morant was suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, which tells you how long it’s been since these teams met and illustrates how quickly this season has flown by. RJ Barrett led Toronto with 27 points.
The Grizzlies have won six of the last nine against Toronto but trails the all-time series 30-29 after losing in November. The matchups date back to 1995, where the Raptors won the first duel between Canada-based teams in Vancouver 93-81, getting 24 points from Damon Stoudamire.

Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic on loss to Kings prior to Memphis visit: "We just did not have enough discipline, enough effort to close on those (late) possessions. When you don’t approach the game from the start with the level of intensity and attention to detail you need, this is the outcome. Once we get our energy right, then our discipline and focus are better."
