Having already made it clear that he wanted the Luka Doncic matchup, Memphis Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks is now ready to settle for the Kyrie Irving matchup. When asked about facing Irving, who is questionable vs. Memphis, Brooks said, "Now I can get him by myself today, so I want to see what he’s all about. He had a couple of words for me in Brooklyn, so I can’t wait to pick him up full every time and see him get exhausted."

Kyrie Irving is questionable to play, but said at shoot-around that he will do all he can to be ready by game time.

"It's unfortunate that I had to play 41 minutes the other night," Irving said. "I didn't come out in the third and the fourth, so it's a little bit of a tweak... Doing all I can right now. Just taking my days and getting recovery in... I'm questionable right now. I'll do everything I can in the next few hours to get ready for the performance."

If Irving is able to play, expect Dillon Brooks to pick him up full-court and do all he can to disrupt the star point guard. Never backing down from any matchup, Brooks was ready for Luka Doncic, and is now ready for Kyrie Irving.

The Grizzlies and Mavericks will face off at 5:00 PM PST.
