Dillon Brooks shocked the NBA world when he gave his brash comments about LeBron James. He called LeBron old, he said he didn't respect LeBron, and he basically egged LeBron to score 40 on him.

ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins couldn't believe Brooks' words and said not only did he poke the bear, he poured honey on himself.

"First of all, I love it right," Perkins said. "He didn't poke the bear. He didn't poke the bear at all. He poured honey on him! That's what Dillon Brooks did! He poured on himself! Because that bear is coming, that bear is LeBron James."

Perkins believes LeBron James' pride won't allow him to take that kind of disrespect from Dillon Brooks, and that's why he guarantees LeBron will be coming.

"LeBron James is from Akron, Ohio, LeBron James is from the mud, LeBron James has got pride," Perkins exclaimed. "He better believe that he didn't poke the bear, he poured honey on himself and the bear is coming. Saturday, LeBron James is on his way."

One would imagine Dillon Brooks isn't just talking smack for the sake of talking smack. The team would arguably like to figure out a way to make Anthony Davis less of a focus in the series, and that's the key to success. However, putting the focus on LeBron James instead of Anthony Davis won't necessarily guarantee a win, but it's an interesting strategy.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies tipoff at 7:00 pm PST for Game 3 on Saturday.
