Former Grizzlies Player Reacts to Ja Morant Gun Video

Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant was recently seen on Instagram live flashing a gun for the second time in as many months. Morant was suspended earlier this season for the exact same thing, and has now done it again. The NBA world has been reacting to the video since it surfaced, including former NBA player Chandler Parsons, who says Morant should be suspended for the season.
Parsons shared this take under an Instagram post from Bleacher Report that announced Morant had been suspended by the Grizzlies from all team activities. With it being the offseason, there are not many team activities taking place, but Morant is technically suspended by the Grizzlies right now.
As it pertains to a league suspension, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Sunday, "Ja Morant is facing the very real possibility of a suspension - a lengthy suspension to start next season after this latest incident with he and an apparent firearm in his possession. This is twice in two months now... I sense already today that Adam Silver is going to feel increasing pressure form other teams in the league who see this - as much as it impacts the Grizzlies, it impacts them and their ability to market their players and their teams."
The word "lengthy" almost certainly does not mean the entire season, but Morant is expected to face a significant suspension to begin the 2023-24 season.
