Grizzlies Legend Shares Message for Ja Morant

In this story:
Memphis Grizzlies legend Tony Allen recently spoke on the latest Ja Morant gun incident during an episode of Kevin Garnett's KG Certified podcast.
"I'll definitely tell [Morant] the guns are not one of those things you play with," Allen said. "I just think if he got that fear of holding a gun, he should be in much need of security... You got to be properly planning in your movements... When you're out and about man, and you definitely think you need a gun or you need places to go that you need a gun, you might not need to be going to those places. I say that from experience."
On his connection with Morant, Allen said, "I reach out to his dad every day. I tell him, 'Hey man, I'm in y'all corner. I'm around. I'm here if you need me.' I've been through some of everything of what he's trying to portray. It can get rough."
Allen is a Memphis Grizzlies legend, which makes it very meaningful to see his concern and care for Morant. There is a lot of work to be done for the Grizzlies star to get back on track, but he has a lot of people supporting him who want to help him regain focus on what matters most. Allen is one of those people, and he recently spoke on that with Kevin Garnett.
