In this story:
Memphis Grizzlies guard Luke Kennard suffered a shoulder injury in Wednesday night's Game 5 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Colliding with LeBron James while fighting over a screen, Kennard exited the game and did not return. In their official Game 6 injury report, the Grizzlies have listed Kennard as questionable with left shoulder soreness.
Speaking with the media on Thursday, Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins said, "I think mobility is fine and stuff. He was feeling good. It's just general soreness he's dealing with. Obviously it's in his shooting arm."

Decision on his status likely to come shortly before the game.
Kennard also spoke with the media following Game 5, and said, "Just got a stinger out there. Get it looked at again tomorrow and try to find out a little bit more, but it's all good right now." When asked what happened on the play he was injured, Kennard said, "Just a screen. Arm got got in there a bit, just bad timing, bad angle. But it's all good."
Kennard added that he is going to do whatever he can to get his shoulder ready for Friday night's Game 6 in LA. With it being his shooting arm, there is some additional concern; however, Kennard's gravity alone is something the Grizzlies desperately need on the court. The team is +39 in Kennard's minutes this series, and his impact was undeniable in Game 5.
