Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr. announced a new partnership on Friday, teaming up with a brand called SoFlo Snacks to produce an energy gummy. The product can be purchased on the SoFlo Snacks website, and it includes a description that reads the following:
"Get Ready! Stay energized and focused throughout the day with our delicious and convenient energy gummies, perfect for those on the go. Each gummy contains 60mg of caffeine, equivalent to a small cup of coffee, as well as 10mg of beetroot juice extract and B vitamins to support overall physical and mental performance."
Jackson announced the partnership on his Instagram with a video that features a highlight montage of the Grizzlies star, along with a close-up look at his new product. It's an exciting moment for Jackson, who will likely have several more sponsorship opportunities after winning the Defensive Player of the Year award.
Jaren Jackson Jr. is a rising star in the NBA. Still just 23 years old, the Grizzlies big man has accumulated a solid resume through five NBA seasons. A first-time All-Star this past season, Jackson solidified himself as a dominant two-way big. While his offensive game is still growing, Jackson showed real signs of emergence on that end this season, especially when Ja Morant missed time. Memphis will need more of the same next season from their star big man.
