The Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets played a thriller on Sunday night, with Miami overcoming a 15-point deficit and a late-game surge from the Nuggets to steal Game 2 on the road. Heading back to Miami with the series even at 1-1, the Heat have to feel good about what they were able to accomplish in Denver.

The stars were out in Denver for Game 2, with NBA legends, actors, music artists, and others taking in the exciting action. One of these stars who was in attendance was Memphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane:

Bane had a fantastic season for the Grizzlies, averaging 21.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and 4.4 APG. A major threat from deep, Bane was also one of just 11 players in the NBA this past season to average at least 20 PPG while also shooting at least 40% from deep. With his backcourt parter Ja Morant expected to be suspended for a lengthy period to begin next season, Bane will have to elevate his game even more to help keep the Grizzlies afloat in his absence.

The NBA Finals are obviously where this Memphis Grizzlies team wants to be next season, especially after suffering a disappointing first round exit to the Los Angeles Lakers this season. With a core of Bane, Morant, and Jaren Jackson Jr., the Grizzlies feel good about what they can accomplish next year.
