Grizzlies Star Makes Bold Statement About LeBron James

Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr. joined LA Clippers star Paul George on the latest episode of Podcast P, which is presented by Wave Sports and Entertainment. When speaking about the Dillon Brooks vs. LeBron James situation, Jackson Jr. said LeBron James is the greatest player to play basketball.

This comment from Jackson Jr. came during a debate about whether or not LeBron is old, which of course stems from Dillon Brooks' remarks during the playoffs.

"[LeBron] is old and he kicked our ass," Jackson Jr. said. He kicked our ass and he's old. He dropped 20 and 20. He's thinking about retiring. I mean, he's been playing since '03... He's great like he kicked our ass, he beat us. He's not old? I mean, damn… He beat us 4-1. He kicked us and we got to spin the block, but I hope we get a chance because I don't know how many more years he wants to do it."

Jackson Jr. followed these comments by saying, "[LeBron is] the greatest player to play."

As previously mentioned, this entire conversation was sparked by Brooks calling LeBron old during the playoffs. Jackson Jr. didn't have an issue with this, because he also believes LeBron is old; however, the Grizzlies star clearly doesn't mean any disrespect with that, as he also stated that LeBron is the GOAT.
