The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to avoid a disastrous 0-2 hole on Wednesday night when they face the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2. The Lakers took Game 1 from Memphis, stealing home court advantage from a Grizzlies team that was dominant in their building all year.

The biggest news from that opening game was the injury status of Ja Morant, as the star point guard re-injured his right hand. Morant is officially being listed as questionable for Wednesday night's game. Outside of Morant, the Grizzlies injury report looks the same way it has for a while now. Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, and Jake LaRavia all remain out from Memphis.

For the Lakers, they are taking their usual approach to the injury report, listing LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Dennis Schroder as probable. The Lakers very rarely submit a clean injury report, and almost always have James and Davis on there as questionable or probable. With both players being probable, they are expected to play.

The Grizzlies cannot afford to go to Los Angeles down 2-0. Memphis was a bad road team all season, and will be in serious danger of losing in the first round if they go to LA without a win. While the Lakers can already feel good about stealing one on the road, they certainly sense the opportunity to get greedy and put Memphis in a serious hole.
