Via ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Ja Morant has broken his silence on his latest gun video incident, saying, "I know I've disappointed a lot of people who have supported me. This is a journey and I recognize there is more work to do. My words may not mean much right now, but I take full accountability for my actions. I'm committed to continuing to work on myself."

Morant was seen flashing a gun on Instagram live for the second time in as many months, which prompted a league investigation that is expected to result in a significant suspension for the star point guard.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver spoke on the incident prior to the Draft Lottery, saying, "I at least was left with a sense that he was taking this incredibly seriously. So honestly, I was shocked when I saw this weekend, that video."

With Morant releasing a statement, it confirms that it was indeed him in the video, which was one of the few things the NBA needed to prove before moving forward with any punishment. It is unclear exactly how many games the league plans to suspend Morant for, but it will almost certainly be more than the eight games he served for the first gun video incident.

This will be a story to follow, as Morant has now broken his silence on the incident.
