Ja Morant Shares Cryptic Post During Lakers Loss

In this story:

Having served 11 games of his 25 games suspension, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is counting down the games until he can return. The Grizzlies lost to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night, and Morant sent out a few Tweets during that game. The first two were seemingly in response to a scuffle between Anthony Davis and Santi Aldama, as Morant posted a smiley face emoji (now deleted) and a bear emoji.

About an hour later, Morant shared this cryptic post, which has fans excited for his eventual return:

Sharing an hour glass emoji, Morant seemed to suggest that he is patiently awaiting is return. Whether or not Morant's return will be enough to salvage the Grizzlies' season remains to be seen, but he will certainly give them a huge boost.

Currently 2-9, the Grizzlies own the worst record in the Western Conference. Morant's absence is not the only one they have been dealing with, as Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke have also been out, and others have missed time as well. That said, just Morant's presence on the court should elevate the Grizzlies far above where they have been at to start this season.

The Western Conference is competitive, and falling this far behind is a tough thing to overcome, but Morant is certainly the caliber of player who can make it happen.
