Ja Morant Reacts to Anthony Edwards' Comments About Him

In this story:
The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night in a game that felt odd for star guard Anthony Edwards. Having faced the Grizzlies in the playoffs and in other big games, Edwards was not used to hearing their home crowd so quiet.
"The fans was dead," Edwards said, per Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal. "I’ve never played in Memphis like this. This is my first time being in Memphis and not having the crowd into the game. So it’s kind of hard to get into it... I was surprised. They usually be amped up. I’m guessing because Ja out, probably."
While Edwards was not used to playing in Memphis with a crowd that quiet, the Timberwolves star acknowledged the impact of Morant's absence, and also shared a nice message about the Grizzlies star.
"We’re looking forward to him getting back, because I’m ready to watch him play," Edwards said. "He’s an exciting player… I know he’s ready to come back and put on a show. We’re ready to see it."
Seeing this message from Edwards come across his timeline, Morant reacted with a single "100" emoji in response to a Tweet about always supporting Edwards:

While both are young players, Morant and Edwards have already had some great battles, and it seems both players are looking forward to having more.
