If there were any player this season who learned a lesson this season, it's Ja Morant. No one has quite experienced the rollercoaster of a season like Ja Morant has, and it's all been one big learning moment.

The seventh-seeded Los Angeles Lakers unexpectedly defeated the second-seeded Memphis Grizzlies in a season that was already tumultuous for Morant. It was a moment that Morant will remember for the rest of his career, especially while he reflects on this offseason. When it comes to reflecting on this offseason specifically, Morant has a lot to reflect on.

The first thing that comes to mind for Morant? He knows he has to be better next season, both on and off the court.

“Like I said before, my (takeaways) are off the court and on the court," Morant said. "Just, being disciplined. Off the court, it’s about making better decisions. On the court, it’s about being locked in even more."

Ja Morant is in a very special place that very few players are in. He's only 23 years old, with a legitimate chance to be the most famous American NBA player within the next few years. As the leader of the Memphis Grizzlies, Morant has to do better. He can't let his other teammates like Dillon Brooks talk a bunch of trash and not back it up.

“Being the leader of the team, it starts with me," Morant said. "However I attack any situation, I know my guys will follow. I just have to be better in that area."

There was a lot of talking for the Grizzlies this season. The next season needs to be about vengeance.
