Ja Morant Reacts to Leaked DPOY Voting

In this story:
Memphis Grizzlies big man Jaren Jackson Jr. has made it clear that he badly wants to win Defensive Player of the Year. Jackson has anchored the Grizzlies defensively all season, and has been especially vital since Steven Adams went down with an injury.
Some leaked Defensive Player of the Year ballots have surfaced, and in one screenshot, Jackson was shown with just two first-place votes. Grizzlies star Ja Morant saw this, and shared his reaction on Twitter:
no way 😂 https://t.co/xZPb4BL5m4

While it is unclear how official this leak is, there are some voters who have already publicly confirmed their votes. The same goes for MVP, as some voters have come out with public explanations for their decision.
Jackson has been a monster defensively for Memphis, and would be a very deserving winner of Defensive Player of the Year. It will be interesting to see who the award goes to, as this is one that always seems to be heavily debated. As for Ja Morant, he has his teammate's back when it comes to the DPOY discussion.
With so much focus on the MVP race between Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Nikola Jokic, the Defensive Player of the Year race has been somewhat overshadowed. That said, it is a prestigious award that players like Jackson really care about, and it would be much deserved if the Grizzlies big man were to win it.
