While Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is out for the rest of the season due to shoulder surgery, he is still making plays off the court with his signature shoes. The Nike Ja 1 has been one of the most popular shoes in basketball this year, with Morant's first signature sneaker being worn by youth hoopers all the way up to NBA stars.

A new edition of Morant's Ja 1 sneakers has been revealed, an it is the Ja 1 "Bite" edition:

In addition to how disappointing it is that Morant cannot play again this season, it's also disappointing that he will not be able to show off his shoes on the court. While the star point guard has a large platform off the court that he can use to promote his new shoes, it was always exciting to see him reveal upcoming pairs during games.

It has been a tough year for the Grizzlies, and Morant's absence is undoubtedly the biggest blow they have suffered. That said, Morant seems to be keeping the right mindset, maintaining a positive outlook amid what has been a very hard year.
