Ja Morant Sends Exciting Message Amid Injury Absence

In this story:

The Memphis Grizzlies have been without star point guard Ja Morant for all but nine games this season. After serving a 25-game suspension to start the year, Morant played just nine games before being sidelined for the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury.

While the Grizzlies have battled in Morant's absence, and have been able to find some potential key rotation pieces to surround him with once he returns, this has ultimately been a lost year for Memphis in terms of their ability to compete for anything in the postseason.

This development is of course primarily due to Morant's injury, but the Grizzlies have also been without several other key players for extended stretches of time. All of this has led to what has been a tough year for the Grizzlies, but there is certainly optimism in Memphis that next year can be much better.

Leading this optimism is Morant himself, who shared a message on X (formerly known as Twitter), saying the wait will be well worth it once he returns:

This is certainly an exciting message for the fanbase, as Grizzlies fans have been missing watching their star point guard on a nightly basis. Expected to be ready for the start of next season, Morant should be returning with even more motivation than he usually has.
