Ja Morant Sends Message as Suspension Return Grows Nearer

In this story:
With the Memphis Grizzlies having played 15 games so far this season, just 10 more remain until Ja Morant is able to return from his suspension. Given a 25 game suspension by the NBA for his second gun video incident on Instagram live, Morant has been ineligible to play this season.
While Morant has been sidelined all year, the Grizzlies star has been watching his teammates play, and is eagerly awaiting his return. As his return grows nearer, Morant has been a bit more active on social media, counting down the games until he can play again. Sharing a message on X (formerly known as Twitter), Morant said the following on Saturday:
“Be grateful even for the hardship, setbacks, & bad people. Dealing with such obstacles is an essential part of training in the Art of Peace.”

Grateful for hardships and setbacks, Morant recognizes how such things can contribute to overall growth. Both Morant and the Grizzlies hope his return can turn this season around for Memphis, as it has been a disastrous one so far. There is a lot of work to do, but Morant is the type of player who can ignite a team, especially after an extended absence like this. With just 10 more games left in his suspension, Morant is getting ready for his return to the court.
