Ja Morant Shares Emotional Reaction to First Home Game After Suspension

In this story:
The Memphis Grizzlies are 2-0 since Ja Morant's return form suspension, picking up their second-straight win on Thursday night. This was also the first home game for Morant since his suspension, and it was an emotional one for the Grizzlies star.
During his on-court interview after the game, Morant shared his emotional reaction, saying, "It was good. I love it. Obviously, like I said, this is my family here. Loved to be able to play in front of them again... Yeah, man. I just love it. Don't make me get emotional right here in front of the camera."

Morant has already changed the outlook of the Grizzlies' season, shifting the energy in just two games back. While there is still a lot of work to do for the Grizzlies to get back in the playoff picture, there is a strong feeling of optimism that they have a real chance of doing that.
Once Marcus Smart, Luke Kennard, and others return to the lineup, Memphis will have even more reason to believe they can make a push towards the playoffs. Their 6-19 start without Morant put the Grizzlies in quite a hole, but the star point guard has already shown the ability to will them to wins.
An emotional first home game for Morant, the Grizzlies picked up another big win to stay unbeaten when he plays this year.
