Ja Morant's Status vs. Sacramento Kings Revealed

The Memphis Grizzlies are set to face the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night, and star point guard Ja Morant is not listed on the injury report. Morant has been dealing with an illness that sidelined him against the Denver Nuggets, and while he played in the next game against the LA Clippers, he was clearly not himself. That said, Morant is not listed on the injury report for this game, meaning he will be available.

That game against the Clippers was the first loss Memphis has suffered this season with Morant in the lineup. The team had been 4-0 since his return, but dropped that game to Denver with Morant out, and then fell again to the Clippers with Morant back in the lineup.

While this two game skid has halted the Grizzlies' momentum a bit, the team is still trending in the right direction after a 6-19 start during Morant's 25 game suspension. This game against the Kings will be a good test for Memphis, as they recognize they will need to be able to beat the better teams in the Western Conference if they want to accomplish their goals this season.
