NBA Twitter Reacts to Ja Morant's Imminent Suspension Announcement

In this story:
NBA commissioner Adam Silver made it clear that Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant would not have his suspension announced until after the NBA Finals.
Speaking with reporters prior to the Finals, Silver said, "In terms of the timing, we've uncovered a fair amount of additional information... We probably could have brought it to a head now, but we made the decision, and I believe the player association agrees with us, that it would be unfair to these players and these teams to announce in the middle of this series to announce the results of that investigation."
With the Denver Nuggets eliminating the Miami Heat in Game 5, NBA Twitter wasted no time reacting to Morant's now imminent suspension announcement, sharing Tweets about the upcoming news:
“Congrats to the Denver Nuggets….and JA MORANT YOURE SUSPENDED FOR 50 GAMES.” pic.twitter.com/G04T5TE5jD

Adam Silver: Congratulations to the new NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets!

crowd: *cheers*
Silver: Ja Morant has been suspended 30 games.
The NBA will announce Ja Morant’s suspension any day now…

How long will he be suspended for? pic.twitter.com/TfRVi9lZS7
This reaction from the NBA Twitter world was especially funny, because Silver explicitly stated the league's decision to withhold the announcement was to allow focus to remain on the Finals. That decision has backfired in some ways, as Silver's comments have been dissected on every major talk show, with analysts predicting how long Morant will be suspended for.
With the Finals now over, the league's announcement on Morant's suspension should be coming any day now. While it was not announced by Silver immediately upon the Finals concluding like fans were joking about, it should not be much longer before Morant and the Grizzlies know what they're facing.
