The Hawks are in Mexico City tonight to face the Orlando Magic in a matchup of Southeast Division rivals, but news also broke today that another of the Hawks division rivals is going to be down one of their most important players.

Atlanta hosts the Miami Heat on Saturday, but the Heat are going to be without shooting guard Tyler Herro for this game and longer according to multiple reports. Herro was diagnosed with a Grade 2 ankle sprain and will be in a walking boot for 10 days and then be reevaluated in two weeks.

The Heat are coming off of a run to the NBA Finals and at the beginning of the season were considered to be a threat in the Eastern Conference and the odds-on favorite in the Southeast Division. The Heat do lack shooting and offense however and while it could have been worse, Miami is going to miss Herro this Saturday against Atlanta and beyond.

After two days off, the Atlanta Hawks are back in action tonight in Mexico City against a division rival.

The Orlando Magic are off to a good start this season and share the same record as the Hawks at 4-3. After spending some time in the NBA Lottery and building up their roster, the Magic appear ready to make a run at the play-in tournament or maybe even a top-six seed.

This is going to be a clash of offense vs defense tonight. Atlanta boasts one of the top offenses in the NBA and they still have room to improve. Star point guard Trae Young has gotten off to a slow start shooting the basketball and the Hawks are still not hitting the number of three-pointers that they would like to yet.

On the other end, Orlando has one of the NBA's top defenses and they have guards that can give the Hawks backcourt of Young and Dejounte Murray plenty of trouble. 2nd-year player Paolo Banchero is a potential superstar in the making and Franz Wagner is one of the most underrated players in the NBA. This is a team that has a lot of young talent and the Hawks are going to be tested tonight.
