Outside of basketball, Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler’s greatest passion is his love for coffee.

Sports Illustrated’s Rohan Nadkarni recently asked the six-time All-Star if he would be willing to give up coffee for a year in exchange for an NBA title.

Butler responded, “Hell no.”

His competitive nature shines brightest during the postseason, as he has led Miami to two NBA Final appearances in the past four seasons. The two may coincide, as Butler told Nadkarni a shocking story from their upset against the Milwaukee Bucks. Although he cannot recall the exact number, he drank between seven and nine cappuccinos prior to his 56-point performance against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Hopefully, for Heat fans, Butler won’t need to part ways with a coffee for the organization to win a championship. After missing out on Bucks superstar Damian Lillard, Miami is moving forward with the Big Three of Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Tyler Herro.

Butler launched his own company, BigFace Coffee, in October 2021. During the 2020 NBA bubble, Butler sold coffee out of his hotel for $20 a cup, which is where the company name stemmed from.

The Heat will face off against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, where we may see our first glimpses of Butler since the Finals.
