Karl-Anthony Towns Provides His Version Of Jimmy Butler's Infamous Practice With Minnesota Timberwolves

Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns details the Jimmy Butler practice

Five years ago, Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler was involved in the infamous, profanity-laced practice when he played with the Minnesota Timberwolves

Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns recently gave his version while making an appearance on Paul George's podcast. Towns and Butler were at the center of the practice.

"We played and, uh, I was ballin, he was passing a lot," Towns said. "He got one free throw and then I know we had a moment where we was arguing with each other. He said some s***. I said some s*** back. I wasn't going for that."

Town and Butler have since settled their differences. Butler was later traded to the Philadelphia 76ers and eventually landed with the Heat.

"We had the team meeting the next day," Towns said. "I pull Jimmy to the side, we talk. Told him what I'm about. I'm about winning and I'm not here for all that so if we about winning then I don't really care about anything else that happened the day before. I'll let all that s*** slide, all the rumors and s*** in the summer, I don't really care as long as I can come to work and we can win games. That's all I care about."
