Western Conference Recaps, March 23: Kawhi Leonard’s 32 Points Led Los Angeles Clippers To A Victory Against Oklahoma City Thunder

The Los Angeles Clippers win despite playing without Paul George

The Los Angeles Clippers didn’t let Paul George’s absence keep them down.

Led by Kawhi Leonard’s 32 points, the Clippers took a 127-105 victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder. It was the first time since Jan. 26 they won by 20 or more points.

“This was a really good win for us,” Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said. “We needed it.”

Russell Westbrook had 24 points and Bones Hyland led all reserves with 16. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 30 points for the Thunder and Josh Giddey had 18.

OTHERS:

-Brandon Ingram’s first career triple-double helped the New Orleans Pelicans grab a 115-96 victory against the Charlotte Hornets. He finished with 30 points, a season-high 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

P.J. Washington led the Hornets with 18 points and Svi Mykhailiuk scored 15 off the bench.
