Western Conference Recaps, March 28: Stephen Curry Led Golden State Warriors To Victory Against New Orleans Pelicans

Stephen Curry scored 39 points in the Golden State Warriors victory against the New Orleans Pelicans

The Golden State Warriors used a huge second half to secure a victory.

The Warriors erased a 20-point deficit to take a 120-109 victory against the New Orleans Pelicans.

“We looked dead those first 18 minutes of the game," Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said. "We had to find some energy somewhere. I knew it wasn’t just going to come.”

Stephen Curry led the way with 39 points, scoring 22 of them in the second half. Klay Thompson scored 17 points and Jordan Poole led all reserves with 21.

Brandon Ingram recorded 26 points to lead the Pelicans and Trey Murphy had 21.

OTHER NOTES:

-WIth Ja Morant sidelined due to a thigh injury, Desmond Bane’s 31 points helped the Memphis Grizzlies secure a 113-108 victory against the Orlando Magic. Xavier Tillman had 20 points and Jaren Jackson recorded 16 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks.

Franz Wagner led the Magic with 25 points and rookie Paolo Banchero had 24 points and 11 rebounds.
