Coco Gauff Credits Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler For Bounce Back In U.S. Open

In this story:
Tennis star Coco Gauff has repeatedly admitted she is a huge fan of Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler.
When Gauff hit a mini-slump a few months ago, she knew who to grab inspiration from.
Gauff said she took Butler's approach in Wednesday's 6-3, 6-2 victory against Mirra Andreeva in the second round of the U.S. Open in New York. She was coming off being upset in the first round of Wimbledon in July.
“That switch I had in the last couple weeks. people think some incredible thing happened,” Gauff told reporters after the match. “But realistically, the two weeks between Wimbledon and the next tournament I played, nothing could have really changed that much. It was really just the mental thing. I think that’s what I learned from watching Jimmy compete over the years.”
Butler has led the Heat to two NBA Finals appearances in the last four years.
