Danny Green Latest For The Miami Heat To See Fall Off Buyout Board After Agreeing To Join Cleveland Cavaliers

The Miami Heat have yet to acquire any buyouts but the pool is drying up.
Veteran guard Danny Green was the latest to get scooped up when he reportedly agreed to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers. This is Green's second stint in Cleveland.
A three-time NBA champion, he adds experience to a Cavs team full of young talent that includes Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen.

The Heat unlikely had any interest in Green because they need a player who has more to offer. While serviceable, Green's best years are far behind him. Still, he joins the likes of Reggie Jackson and Terrence Ross who are off the buyout market.
The Heat's chance of a quality addition is starting to look like Russell Westbrook, who agreed to a buyout from the Utah Jazz. Westbrook, a future Hall of Famer, will likely take his time before making a decision.
