Eastern Conference Recaps, Feb. 16: Brook Lopez Has A Big Game In Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Early Exit

Before leaving the game with a sprained right wrist, Giannis Antetokounmpo broke the Milwaukee Bucks’ all-time record with his 3,274th assist.

But it was Brook Lopez who led the Bucks to a 112-100 victory against the Chicago Bulls. He scored a season-high 33 points, the most since Aug. 8, 2020. He also had seven rebounds, two assists, four blocks, and three 3-pointers. Jevon Carter had 22 points while Jrue Holiday and rookie A.J. Green had 15.

Nikola Vucevic led the Bulls with 22 points and 16 rebounds and Zach LaVine had 18 points.

OTHER NOTES

-The Washington Wizards rallied from a 20-point deficit to take a 114-106 victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Bradley Beal led the way with a season-high 35 points and Kyle Kuzma had 16.

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 34 points and Rudy Gobert had 17 points and 19 rebounds.
