Eastern Conference Recaps, May 9: Joel Embiid Has Philadelphia 76ers One Victory From Conference Finals After Celtics Win

The Philadelphia 76ers are one victory from making the conference finals but you could hardly notice Tuesday.
The 76ers defeated the Boston Celtics 115-103 in Game 5 of their series. Still, they refuse to get comfortable.
"I honestly don't care," Sixers center Joel Embiid said. "We still got to get one more, and that's all I'm thinking about right now. And then, obviously, you're going home, so you'll have a lot of energy in the crowd, and I imagine everybody plays better at home, too. I do play better at home. What we did tonight ... it's easier said than done, but we've got to do it again, and I'm excited for it."
Embiid led the way with 33 points, seven rebounds and four blocks while guard Tyrese Maxey added 30 points. James Harden had 17 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 36 points.
"We are up 3-2," Sixers coach Doc Rivers said. "All right? That's it. We have to get our rest, and we have to get ready because they're going to come and play great, and we got to be able to sustain that, and still win the game."
