Gabe Vincent Reportedly Leaves Miami Heat For Los Angeles Lakers

In this story:
The Miami Heat are set to send another developmental project turned rotation player to the Los Angeles Lakers.
According to a report from The Athletic, former Heat guard Gabe Vincent is set to join the Lakers. Vincent became a free agent this offseason despite most of the last two postseasons in Miami.
The Heat endured the same thing in 2021 when guard Kendrick Nunn was also signed by the Lakers after a successful stint in Miami. Both Nunn and Vincent went undrafted out of college before becoming solid rotation players with the Heat.
Vincent joins a Lakers team led by LeBron James, who led the Heat to championships in 2012 and 2013 while leading them to four straight NBA Finals appearances.
With free agency set to being, the Heat now could have no point guard on the roster because they face the possibility of Kyle Lowry being gone and the departure of Vincent.
Free agent guard Gabe Vincent has agreed on a three-year, $33 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Vincent’s agent, Bill Neff, negotiated the new deal for a tremendous undrafted success story.
