Miami Heat's Comeback Bid Against New York Knicks Falls Just Short After Julius Randle's Clutch Shot

In this story:
The Miami Heat have their share of bad losses this season.
On Friday, they had a good loss simply because of the effort. The Heat rallied from a 15-point, halftime deficit, took the lead late before falling 122-120 to the New York Knicks at Miami-Dade Arena.
It was the Knicks' eight straight victory while the Heat have lost six of seven.
The Heat grabbed a 120-119 lead on a Tyler Herro layup with 23 seconds remaining. That set the stage for Knicks All-Star Julius Randle. He hit a 26-point step-back 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds left to seal it for the Knicks.

The Heat had one final chance but Kevin Love threw an errant pass on the next possession. Randle led all scorers with 43 points, including eight 3-pointers. Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 33 points while Herro added 29.
The Heat return to action Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks.
