Miami Heat's Max Strus: "We're Fighting For Our Lives"

In this story:
The Miami Heat have 14 games to make it happen.
They've made it clear they want no part of the NBA's play-in tournament. So it has come down to this: in the next few weeks, they have to make up 2.5 games to catch the Brooklyn Nets for the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference.
In short, they will take any win they can get the remainder of the season. Style points are out of the door.
"Any win we can get right now is huge," Strus said. "We're fighting for our lives to get a playoff spot. Every game matters, every game is huge."
Here's why the Heat feel they can get it done:
JIMMY BUTLER
"I think all year long we try to win games. Every game was always important. The same thing goes for now. We're trying to win as many games as possible and we'll see where we end up at the end of the day. But as long as we guard, we play basketball the right way, I feel like we're going to be in a good position no matter what."
CALEB MARTIN ON PLAYING IN A PLAYOFF ATMOSPHERE
"We're definitely used to it. I guess it helps that we've been in it so many times. We kind of know what to expect. We don't get too rattled. Just kind of go into the game know it's probably going to be close."
