Miami Marlins To Host Udonis Haslem Night Sept. 7

In this story:
Recently retired Miami Heat player Udonis Haslem is one of the most respected people in South Florida.
And the love just keeps coming in.
The Miami Marlins recently announced they plan to honor Haslem by hosting a "UD Night" Sept. 7 at the stadium. Each ticket includes a "Haslem 40" Marlins T-shirt. The Marlins will donate $3.05 of every ticket purchased to the Udonis Haslem Foundation.
“Udonis Haslem embodies the South Florida community, and it is our honor to celebrate his many accomplishments on the court and in the surrounding neighborhoods of Miami with UD Night on September 7,” said Caroline O’Connor, Marlins President of Business Operations, in a press release. “We could not think of a better way to recognize his commitment to the community than by supporting his newly launched foundation with a donation from every UD Night ticket.”
Fans can join the celebration and support the hometown hero by purchasing their UD Night tickets at Marlins.com/UD.
Haslem won three championships with the Heat, spending all 20 years in Miami. He is the franchise leader in rebounds.
