The Heat lost to the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals, causing many to believe they need another superstar to take the next step. Pairing Lillard with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and possibly Tyler Herro gives the Heat a strong collection of offensive weapons.
Lillard is coming off perhaps his best season, averaging 32.2 points, 7.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds. He has spoke in the past about his friendship with Adebayo, whom he often works out with in the offseason.
Even if the Heat have to part ways with Herro, their third-leading scorer, the move would still be beneficial.
