Jazz-Mavericks Injury Report: Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson Update

In this story:
The Utah Jazz will look to redeem themselves from their recent five-game losing stretch on Monday night as they take on an MVP candidate in Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. Utah recently matched up with this squad last Thursday and will have an opportunity to even the season series up 2-2 at home.
However, the Jazz could ultimately be short-handed for tonight's contest, as both teams released their injury reports ahead of the game showcasing some guys potentially stuck on the sideline.
Utah Jazz:
Lauri Markkanen- QUESTIONABLE (ankle)
Jordan Clarkson- QUESTIONABLE (groin)
Omer Yurtseven- QUESTIONABLE (ankle)
Kris Dunn- OUT (suspension)
Houston Rockets:
Josh Green- OUT (ankle)
Maxi Kleber- QUESTIONABLE (knee)
The availability for a couple of these top Jazz players may come down to the wire. Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen are questionable before Monday's game, as both have missed some consistent time across the most recent weeks. If Utah could manage to get one, or even both of them back, it could make for an immense boost for the offensive side of the ball.
However, don't expect to see Kris Dunn in the lineup, as he's dealing with the reprocussions from his altercation in the Rockets game with Jabari Smith Jr..
As for the Mavericks, Josh Green has already been announced as out while he rehabs the right ankle sprain he sustained around a week ago. When it comes to Maxi Kleber, his status will get clearer once we get close to gametime as he's pinned with a questionable status.
Tip off for this one will go down at 7 PM MT at the Delta Center.
