Lakers News: Fans Obliterate Darvin Ham For Questionable Rotations

In this story:
Your 2023-24 Los Angeles Lakers are in somewhat of a weird bind. At times, this year's Lakers look like they've got their stuff together and could beat any team in the league. In other instances, however, it seems as if the Lakers are lost and need an extreme makeover to fix their problems.
It's not ideal for the Purple and Gold. It depends on who you ask. The problem with the Lakers may be right in front of them, and he might just happen to go by the name of Darvin Ham, head coach of the Lakers.
Ham's questionable rotations leave us analysts and Laker fans scratching our heads and wondering, at times, if he is the right man for the job. People are fed up with his questionable rotation decisions, especially when you have a good young talent in Max Christie. Christie has not played a healthy amount since December 15th against the Spurs. He got his shot last night and played exceptionally well.
Nonetheless, fans were frustrated to hear/see Christie's lack of playing time and the impact he could have on the team. Of course, the blame went toward Ham in the comment section of a recent tweet from The Athletic's Jovan Buha, who spoke on the addition of Christie to the team's rotation for its 133-112 Thursday win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Christie played 24 minutes on Thursday and made 75% of his shots, scoring 10 points, dishing out three assists, and snagging seven rebounds while being +18 on the court.
In Christie's last five games, he has logged 68 minutes and scored a measly 15 points. For some reason, Ham doesn't want to play Max; although he is a good defender for his size, he could create his own shot when needed and knock down the occasional three-pointer.
One could argue Ham is holding back the growth of the 20-year-old. Hopefully Ham is listening to the fans, plays Christie, and stops holding himself back to help LA reach their full potential.
