The Los Angeles Lakers have had a lot of drama surrounding them this offseason, mainly stemming from LeBron James being perceived as mad with the organization about building around Luka Doncic.

Doncic signed a three-year extension with the franchise in the summer to solidify his future in Los Angeles. The team also made some roster decisions that were impacted by what Doncic wanted around him.

Despite all of the drama that has happened this summer, James wants to show that he supports Doncic as a teammate. He recently gave him a big show of support.

Lakers' LeBron James shows teammate Luka Doncic some support

James showed Doncic some support on social media, posting about his dominant performances in EuroBasket. James posted this on his Instagram story.

Doncic is one of the best players in the world. Now that he is in the best shape he's ever been before an NBA season, he should be even better for the Lakers.

James has been very complimentary of Doncic as a basketball player. He knows just how good a player he is and how much the Lakers need him if they are going to contend for a championship.

This drama over the summer shouldn't have any effect on how these two play basketball with each other once the season starts. They are still two of the best players in the league, and they started to figure out how to play with each other late in the year.

Lakers guard Luka Doncic looks like a dominant force in EuroBasket

Doncic has put up some great performances since he's been playing for Team Slovenia during EuroBasket. He continues to show that he is an offensive force who can't be stopped.

The next step for Doncic is to get better on the defensive end so that he's not an actual liability. James is going to help him with that in training camp, as will the Lakers coaches.

In Doncic's latest performance against Italy, he had 42 points, 10 rebounds, and one assist on 11-of-19 shooting. No one on the planet can really stop him when he gets it going on the offensive end of the court.
