Buckle up Lakers fans, we are still in for a wild ride to wrap up the regular season and now it seems as though we cannot trust even our most reliable NBA sources!

On Thursday morning, reports began surfacing that our superstar LeBron James was partaking in some on-court activity and that it looked like he was shooting to return to the court for LA's final 3-4 games.

Two of the NBA's most respected reporters in Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski broke this news, and LA fans were ecstatic knowing that James could be back to at least get comfortable before a potential playoff run.

However, not too long after, the 38-year-old James took to his own Twitter and shut down any report that stated this:

"There wasn’t an evaluation today and there hasn’t been any target date for my return. I’m just working around the clock, every day(3X a day) to give myself to best chance of coming back full strength whenever that is. God bless y’all sources. I speak for myself!"

This isn't the first time that James has said he's rehabbing three times a day to return to his squad. Him claiming these reports are false continues to add to the uncertain timetable that we continue to get surrounding his foot injury.

Prior to his injury, the f-time NBA champion was averaging abount 29 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. He only got to play a couple of games with his new-look roster before he went down and the basketball world has yet to see the potential of a fully healthy Lakers squad.

The franchise has had players step up in his absence, particularly Austin Reaves who cannot stop getting career-highs, but LA definitely still needs James healthy if the team hopes to add more championship hardware this year.
