Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick said starting forward Rui Hachimua went back to Los Angeles, along with LeBron James, Jaxson Hayes, and Maxi Kleber.

Redick shared before the Lakers' game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Athletic's Jovan Buha shared via X.

Redick also mentioned how Hachimura, Hayes, and James are listed as day-to-day moving forward.

Hachimura has been ruled out for the past two weeks with a left knee injury.

After the Lakers lost to the Boston Celtics on Saturday, it was announced that Hachimura would miss the road trip with his knee injury. The 27-year-old has missed the last seven games, counting Thursday's against the Bucks. He will miss his eighth game on Friday against the Denver Nuggets.

It's unclear if he will play on Sunday against the Phoenix Suns. At best, Hachimura could be listed as questionable prior to that matchup.

The Japanese native has been great this season, averaging 13.3 points per game, 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.8 steals while shooting 50.6 percent from the field and 41 percent from three in 50 games and 32.1 minutes of action.

In the 10 games before his injury, Hachimuara averaged 17.5 points on 53.2 percent shooting (including 39.0 percent from three on 5.9 3PA/G), 5.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists over 35.1 minutes per game.

Hachimura is now back in Los Angeles and will get the proper rest he needs to be back on the court as the season winds down.

Hayes and the newest Lakers, Maxi Kleber, also returned to Los Angeles. Hayes, 24, will miss the third game in a row on Thursday due to a right knee contusion. He will also be out for Friday's game.

The absence of Hayes is a brutal blow for the Lakers. The former Texas Longhorn has been tremendous for the Lakers, especially since L.A. dealt Anthony Davis to Dallas.

In his last eight games, Hayes has averaged 8.6 rebounds, 6.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.4 blocks while shooting 73.7 percent from the field in 25.1 minutes. He last played on March 6 against the New York Knicks.

As for Kleber, he continues to be ruled out, but there is a chance he will join the team at the start of April. The 33-year-old is ruled out due to a surgically repaired right foot.

If all goes well, he could play soon and possibly find a way into the rotation.
