Los Angeles Lakers superstar point guard Luka Doncic showed some love to the Los Angeles Dodgers after their second consecutive World Series win, sporting a championship hat upon his arrival in Salt Lake City for Sunday's game against the Utah Jazz.
The Dodgers dominated the National League in the postseason, losing just one game on their path to the World Series. They only lost one game away from home throughout the entirety of their playoff run.

Doncic, who came to the Lakers in a blockbuster trade in the middle of the 2024-25 season, has openly showed his support for the Dodgers on his social media, tweeting after they clinched the World Series with their win Nov. 1.

The Lakers and Dodgers have become even closer recently, with Dodgers executives Andrew Friedman and Farhan Zaidi taking advisory roles within the Lakers' organization on Friday.
After purchasing the Lakers at a $10 billion valuation last month, Mark Walter now owns both teams, and is understandably trying to fuse the success of the two teams to create an unstoppable sporting duo with the LA teams.
Friedman has been the Dodgers' president of baseball operations in 2015, and has guided them to three World Series wins in six seasons. The role he has with the Lakers is minor in comparison to his position with the Dodgers, but is important nonetheless.

"He mostly consults with Lakers president of basketball operations Rob Pelinka, sources said," ESPN's Ramona Shelburne wrote. "Friedman has helped the Dodgers win three of the past six World Series.
"Both the Lakers and Dodgers are expected to become part of TWG Sports, the entity Walter created to oversee all his sports holdings. As such, Zaidi and Friedman are acting as senior executives of TWG Sports, which is helping with the Lakers after the sale of the team closed last month."
