In this story:

1. HEAT, SUNS FINALISTS IN BEAL SWEEPSTAKES

A trade between two Southeast Division rivals could come into fruition in the coming days.

According to The Athletic, the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are in "serious talks" with the Washington Wizards for a blockbuster trade to acquire Bradley Beal.

Beal, who turns 30 this month, has a no-trade clause but has begun talking to teams to seek a deal.

2. GRADEY DICK COMING TO MAGIC?

"When thinking about all of the attributes that make an elite shooter, Dick checks all of the boxes," SI writes. "For starters, he’s got a smooth shot and quick release that results in him converting on a high percentage of his triples. Dick is also great at moving without the ball, with a great understanding of how to get himself open for a shot."

3. GOGA GONNA RETURN?

"Bitadze is a frustrating player because he has a good-looking shooting stroke and some athletic bounce to him, but he’s yet to convert that into a rotation-caliber player," The Athletic writes. "The long-range shooting hasn’t translated to games (25.1 percent career), and his pick-and-roll effectiveness is hurt by the fact that he might be the worst screener alive. Defensively, he can block shots, but fouls too much and can get lost in pick-and-roll coverage."

4. WHAT ABOUT WAGNER?

"Orlando’s other Wagner proved he wasn’t just there to babysit, playing well enough to oust Bamba from the backup center role," The Athletic writes. "Wagner is still a vulnerable defender whose only move is taking a charge, but that’s easier to live with when you average 26.1 points per 100 on 63.0 percent true shooting. Wagner could actually go up another level if he can get his 3-pointer to drop more consistently — he’s at 31.9 percent for his career, but that hasn’t stopped him from firing away."

5. DRAFT COUNTDOWN

The Orlando Magic is four days away from the 2023 NBA Draft, where the team will welcome the newest members of the franchise.

Coverage begins on June 22 at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
