Wouldn't it be nice if you could enjoy a nice lunch while also getting a sneak peek of the 2019-2020 Dallas Mavericks before the season, or even the preseason, gets underway? On Sunday, October 6th, you can do just that, as the Mavs are hosting a 'Free Open Practice' at American Airlines Center.

In addition to having food specials at this event, the Mavs are also offering fans free parking in the Lexus Garage (limited space available). There will also be merchandise discounts at The Hangar fan shop inside AAC, as well as a number of Mavs tickets specials. Special appearances will be made by the Mavs Drumline, Mavs Mascots and the beloved Mavs ManiAACs. Doors will be open at the AAC East Entrance at 11:30 a.m., and the event is expected to last until 2:30 p.m.

Excitement within the fan base has been steadily building since the Mavs acquired Kristaps Porzingis from the New York Knicks last season before the trade deadline. Social media photos are fun, but this open practice, which will be a live scrimmage, is a great opportunity for Mavs fans to get their first live-action look at Porzingis and Luka Doncic playing together. Fans will also get their first look at some of the newer Mavs players as well, including Seth Curry, Delon Wright and Boban Marjanovic.

Two days after the open practice event, the Mavs will officially open the preseason in Tulsa, Oklahoma against the OKC Thunder. You can read our full Mavs 2019 Preseason Preview here.
